Intra2net introduces lifecycle policy for hardware and software
Partners and end customers get a predictable framework for IT investments and support services
Tübingen, Germany, June 28, 2022 - Intra2net (www.intra2net.com), a German manufacturer of IT security and groupware solutions, is introducing a lifecycle policy for hardware and software. This will provide end customers and partners with a predictable framework for investing in their IT infrastructure, as well as full transparency on product support from Intra2net. The new lifecycle policy includes both Intra2net hardware appliances and HPE server systems, as well as third-party software.
Intra2net hardware, such as the Intra2net Appliance Pro, is generally certified for ten years from the date of shipment. For Hewlett Packard Enterprise Server systems, certification ends ten years after market launch by the manufacturer in each case. For third-party software, especially virtualization environments or email client solutions such as Microsoft Outlook, Intra2net guarantees support for up to two years after the respective manufacturer's end of support.
"With the introduction of a regularly communicated lifecycle policy, we want to offer our partners and end customers maximum transparency and predictability over the entire lifecycle of our products," explains Steffen Jarosch, CEO of Intra2net AG. "This ensures long-term protection of customer investments."
For its own software solutions such as the Intra2net Business Server or the security packages Intra2net Security Gateway and Intra2net Network Security, Intra2net has been offering a continuous migration path for over 20 years. Basic requirements for access to Intra2net support include a license with active software maintenance and the use of a current version.
