The Intra2net system can be deployed as a virtual appliance. For an installation under Microsoft Hyper-V, the Linux Integration Services are offered, which provide for a better management possibility as well as smooth user interaction with the Intra2net guest operating systems. For VMware vSphere the VMware Tools are available. The supported virtualization environments are listed below:

Virtualization with Hyper-V

• Microsoft Windows Server 2022
• Microsoft Windows Server 2019
• Microsoft Windows Server 2016
• Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2

Virtualization with VMware

• VMware ESXi 8.0
• VMware ESXi 7.0
• VMware ESXi 6.7
• VMware ESXi 6.5

Virtualization with Linux

• KVM Kernel-based Virtual Machine
• XEN Project Hypervisor in Native Mode

More Information

• The Intra2net system provides the VMware tools and the Linux Integration Services (LIS) for Microsoft Hyper-V
• Note the restrictions of Microsoft Hyper-V regarding unfiltered network packets
• For use as a virtual appliance, the same system requirements apply as for the standard installation plus the additional requirements of the host operating system
